Stephen H. Downs, one of the founders of Downs Tandy Petruniw, concentrates his practice in the areas of creditor's rights, real estate, business and corporate planning, elder law, and estate planning and administration.
Stephen serves as Wabash County attorney, and also represents the Metropolitan School District of Wabash County, Peru Community Schools, the Honeywell Foundation, First Financial Bank, Crossroads Bank, and Beacon Credit Union.
A 1973 graduate of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Stephen is licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and the Indiana Supreme Court.
Stephen and his wife, Lisa, are the parents of five children, and are active in many community activities.
Jordan L. Tandy specializes in the areas of personal injury, family law, criminal defense, estate planning, and general civil litigation.

Jordan lives in Wabash with his wife Ashley and their two children, Eleanor and John, where they are members of Zion Lutheran Church. Jordan is involved in the community in various capacities and currently serves on the Wabash County Community Corrections Advisory Committee, Wabash County Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors, Indiana State Bar Association Young Lawyers Society, Lagro Canal Foundation Board of Directors, Wabash County Re-Entry Court Advisory Committee, and the Zion Lutheran Mission Board. He has served as the president of the Wabash County YMCA Board of Directors, Wabash Kiwanis Club, Wabash County Hospital Foundation, and Wabash Marketplace Design Committee.
M. Josh Petruniw specializes in the areas of creditor’s rights, real estate, business and corporate planning, elder law, estate planning and administration, family law, and general civil litigation.
Josh graduated from Wabash College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a minor in Spanish. Josh received his Juris Doctor from the Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University and also earned his Master of Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business. Josh was admitted to the Indiana State Bar in 2011.
Josh is licensed to practice in both the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He is a member of the Wabash County and Indiana State Bar Associations. His clients include Beacon Credit Union and Crossroads Bank.
Josh lives in Wabash with his wife Kristen and their son, Jack. Josh serves as the Vice President of the Community Foundation of Wabash County and President of the Wabash Rotary Club. He has previously served on the board of directors for Wabash Marketplace, Inc. and the Wabash Carnegie Public Library.
Mark Frantz focuses his practice on civil litigation, appellate litigation, corporate law, real estate law, elder law, estate planning and administration, and government and municipal law.
Mark was raised in North Manchester, Indiana, where he graduated from Manchester High School in 2005. Mark graduated from Indiana University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with minors in Economics and Psychology. Mark received his Juris Doctor from the Valparaiso University School of Law where he graduated magna cum laude. Mark was admitted to the Indiana State Bar in 2012 and is licensed to practice in Indiana and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana and Southern District of Indiana. Mark is a member of the Wabash County Bar Association.
While in law school, Mark held a clerkship with a general practice law firm where he gained valuable litigation experience. Mark also served as a judicial extern to Judge Jon E DeGuilio and Judge Robert Miller, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
Prior to joining Downs Tandy & Petruniw, Mark practiced at a law firm in Vermillion County, Indiana, assisting clients with needs related to civil litigation, appellate litigation, family law and estate planning. Mark is admitted to practice in the State of Indiana, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. He is a member of the Wabash County Bar Association and Indiana State Bar Association.
Mark lives in Wabash and currently serves on the board of directors for Wabash County United Fund, Parkview Wabash Hospital Foundation, Wabash County YMCA, Living Well in Wabash County CoA, Inc., Wabash River Trail, Inc., and Junior Achievement of Greater Wabash County and he is an active member of the Wabash Rotary Club.
